Pre, During, and Post Competition and Practice
Feel and dance your best at practice and competition. We will discuss what and how much to eat and drink before, during, and after practice and competition weekends. These nutrition strategies will ensure you are strong, sharp, and confident during short to long practice sessions and competitions. Improve your performance and stamina with the power of optimal sports nutrition. There will be time for questions throughout the presentation and at the end.
Kristen is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and a board-Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. She also has a Master’s in Human Nutrition from The Ohio State University. Kristen has been working with amateur to professional athletes in a range of sports to enhance their performance through nutrition since 2014. She owns a private practice nutrition counseling business focusing on performance nutrition for athletes as well as is a coach for bicycle racers with Source Endurance where she coaches entry-level to national elite-level cyclists in mountain, road, and cyclocross bike racing. In addition to nutrition counseling and coaching, Kristen is a professional cyclist for ButcherBox Cycling where she competes in national-level races across the USA and Canada.
