Fueling the Dancer Every Day

Learn about how to eat optimally for health and performance every day. We will discuss basic nutritional needs, portion sizes, and what kinds of foods to eat when throughout the day. We will also discuss goal setting and how to ensure consistency which is the baseline of success. There will be time for questions throughout the presentation and at the end.
Kristen is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and a board-Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics. She also has a Master’s in Human Nutrition from The Ohio State University. Kristen has been working with amateur to professional athletes in a range of sports to enhance their performance through nutrition since 2014. She owns a private practice nutrition counseling business focusing on performance nutrition for athletes as well as is a coach for bicycle racers with Source Endurance where she coaches entry-level to national elite-level cyclists in the mountain, road, and cyclocross bike racing. In addition to nutrition counseling and coaching, Kristen is a professional cyclist for ButcherBox Cycling where she competes in national-level races across the USA and Canada.
